House in Progress

It's hard to believe it's been three and a half weeks since we bought the house. Thanks to many friends and our children :) we have been able to get most of the house ready to move in. We hope to have the basement and upstairs ready by the end of next week. Wish us luck!

Foyer before, primed and after. We still have to change out the green light fixture and paint the green furnace but we love our yellow "Bees Wax" walls.

Here is Pam putting in some long hours washing wallpaper residue off the walls. The kids are playing in the bags of wallpaper we took out to the road. We had over twenty or more! The rooms downstairs are all painted and now we just have to remove carpet.

Here is Meghan and Elder Bandley priming our eat-in kitchen. It's finished now.

Ila has been an amazing helper with Loden. We couldn't have done so much without her.

Wow, the house looks beautiful. I love all the dark wood trim with your bees wax! As I type, David is prepping our basement paneling for painting. :)

Your kids are so beautiful and grown up!

I'm so excited you put pictures of your house on here! I love it. The woodwork is especially beautiful. I just can't wait to see it in person.
