Summer Days

This had to be one of the best summers ever! Three family reunions, Disney World, and little Loden meeting his Great Grandma "B".

We started our summer by driving down to Wetumpka and visiting all the Enslens.

Little miss Sadie was one of the newest additions.

Ila with Sibley.

Grandaddy with Loden

My mom and me and little Loden went to Michigan to visit my Grandma "B" and attend the Steenbergh reunion on my Father's side.

Grandma "B" plays a mean game of Canasta.

Loden is in love.

These are just a few of the hats Grandma made for the local NCU.

This is one of the beautiful Cathedral quilts my Grandma has made. She is extremely talented!

My dad and Loden and me headed up to Lake Charlevoix, Michigan for the Steenbergh Family Reunion. I tried to show in this photo how my Great Grandmother's family was represented by all the descendants attended. Her parents were represented by the 2 teens in the front and then her 16 siblings were represented by either themselves or their descendants. Each person is holding up the name of the individual they represent. It was very inspiring.

Loden with his Papa

The story of this tree is that my Great Grandma Steenbergh Barnes planted a tree and placed a stick next to the seedling so no one would step on it. Well the seedling died but the stick grew and became this beautiful Catalpa tree (Catawba tree if you're from the south).

Grandma Jenny with Loden. It was so wonderful to visit with Grandma Jenny. Loden thought so too.

This is my Great, Great Grandparents Steenberghs and their children. In 1920, three of the children died from the world wide flu epidemic.

This is a photo of Leona (my great aunt), my dad, Jim (my great uncle), Grandma Jenny, Uncle Chuck,(my dad's brother), and my Aunt Cindy Lou, my dad's sister, holding Loden.
