Day 16

Cole playing spies with Loden.

Dear Daddy,

Ila was calling for you tonight, more like crying/screaming. I began wishing for you too. I'm so excited you will be home this week. I thought I would give you a brief overview of my day today.

4 am- Ila crawled in bed with me.

7 am- Woke up to Loden's chatter and fed him.

7 :30 am- Trying to keep Ila from smothering Loden with affection.

8:30 am-Realized I had to teach sharing time today for Church.

9:am- Had to ask Cole to change shirts. Need to take out all the shirts he has outgrown.

9:30am Cooked two fried eggs for Cole, one for me and Ila. Ila does not like fried eggs anymore.

10 am- Cole wrote his talk on the Holy Ghost all by himself for sharing time.

10:05- Received a call that one of our teachers would not be able to teach and called to find a substitute for Primary.

10:15- Ila is dressed and wanting makeup on.

10:20-Yelled at Cole and can't remember what for.

10:22- Apologized for yelling at Cole.

10:25- Dressed Loden for Church.

10:30-Dragged two grouchy kids to the car. Loden fell asleep in the car. Meghan needed a ride too.

12:10-Cole bore his testimony and so did I. Ila also came and joined us.

12:20-2pm- Primary Blur.

2:05- Ila has a meltdown because I won't give her a reverent treat because she wouldn't sit with her class during sharing time.

2:10-Jen invites the kids to hang out at her house so I can rest. Joe carries a distraught Ila and I couldn't say no. :)

3:30-5pm-Sleep and fed Loden on and off.

5pm-6:20-Tidy up around the house

6:30-Ate dinner prepared by Jen.

7-8 watched a movie with the kids

8pm- Helped the kids get ready for bed

8:15-Read "Where the Wild Things Are" and Plant Eaters to Cole and Ila

8:30-Family Prayer

9pm-Fed and put Loden to bed

9:30- checked e-mail

10pm- started this post

10:40pm-missing you terribly

Love,

Lainer
