4th Of July at West Point

Imagine over 30,000 people packed all up a mountain and listening to an Orchestra playing the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky and canons and fireworks going off over the river. It is hard to capture in images and words the patriotism felt that evening. I have to say it was one of my favorite 4th of July Celebrations. Grandma Loden made our picnic fabulous! Thanks for all the yummy food and thinking of all the necessities like bug repelant and glow sticks!
Cole had a blast!

Ila was attached to her Papa as soon as he got into our car from the airport. She is right now outside playing with him. The world revolves around her Papa.
This is the class of 2013. Fresh into the academy, they are respectively known as "Plebes". We watched as a thousand of them marched down the mountain to have front row seats for the concert and firework display. Go Army!
